Falling ash. Subservient Hellhounds. Dark mirrors and ticking clocks. Such is the life of a daughter of Hecate living in Hell...
Monroe Jacobs isn't your typical witch. She is strong, her powers growing with each passing day. They are powers that beckon, powers coveted by many, including the man she loves.
Luther Craig is a remorseless Demon ruler in Hell. Governing a kingdom once presided over by his mother, the she-demon Lilith, Luther has everything he's ever wanted. Power.
But his kingdom is at risk, his newfound strength a challenge to the Princes of Hell.
Theirs is a strange relationship, the witch and the Demon, full of passion and need. It's a relationship that will be tested by the worst kind of obstacles--pride, covetousness, lust, anger, gluttony, envy, and sloth.
For in the ash-filled shadows of Hell, the Princes are preparing for war. Luther isn't the only one who wants power and a blonde-haired witch. He'll have to face the Seven Deadly Sins to keep both.

Loved where this installment of Monroe and Luther's story took us. Can't help but smile when I think of baseball caps now. I always thoroughly enjoy reading what R.K. Ryals puts on the page - she definitely has a gift.
This is the 3rd book...I was super excited to read it. This is a fabulous ending to this edition. Would definitely recommend reading
I love, love Luther. He's bad, he knows it and he owns it. Sexy anti-hero. Monroe is the witch in the story ;) She is pretty bad-ass in her own right and the woman that loves Luther. Also, the narrator of the story.
Regina's writing is amazing. She really makes the reader fall into the story with the characters, their emotions and the dramas unfolding in these two character's lives. The entire series is fantastic.
First I want to say, everyone is there own critic. Everyone has a right to his/her opinion. I was so happy when I saw this book was finally available. I really enjoyed reading this book, it gave a better insight into Luther's character. As for Monroe's character, she sure came out of her shell from when she was in the Redemption series to this series. As always, greatly written R.K Ryals. I can't wait for the 4th book on Marcus and Dayton to come out. I know I sure will enjoy that as well. If you haven't started reading these books from this author, give it a try. If you do, start from the beginning, the Redemption Series.
This is by far the most amazing of the Series I can not wait for more Luther & Monroe.. More Marcus & more "Only you" in this one you get to see the more human side of Luther its an amazing story written by a Very Talented young Writer Regina K Ryals is truly a gifted Talented, awe inspiring Writer, who puts the Love in Heaven and Hell , battles blood and Romance .. who could ever ask for more sigh Until we meet again Luther only you !!!
The only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 2 was because I liked Monroe. Luther I did not like. He didn't have enough redeeming qualities and he didn't have enough of a back story to foster any sympathy from me. I know the formula for these kind of romances is to have a bad boy where the female character is the only he is capable of loving and there's all this passion and excitement. Evolution has created this appeal for bad boys, instinctively women know bad boys can physically protect them and will because they are possessive; and due to their sexual prowess they are effective at procreating. However they are not meant to be long term mates, they are rolling stones and have a drive to keep sowing their seeds. They are narcissistic and/or sociopaths. So in my imagination, Luther will eventually leave Monroe once she is no longer useful to him or truly defies him. So the real fantasy is the right balance of good boy/bad boy which seems so rare it's like a mythical creature. There is good in him but because of his traumatic past he has had to become a bad boy to survive. But the love of his life is able to break through his defense helping him to feel safe enough to show his humanity more. A good example is Marcus. Now if Marcus and Monroe had been paired up that would have been a truly awesome romance.
Dancing With The Devil, Book 3 The Thorne Trilogy
In the final book of The Thorne Trilogy, we meet the seven deadly sins who just happen to be Princes in Hell. When the demon of lust sets his sights on Monroe it’s an all out war in Hell and on Earth. Monroe has fully come into her powers and with Luther there to guide her, the two just may be unstoppable. They love as fiercely as they fight. This couple is on fire.
This was my favorite in the series. Of the series it is the darker, sexier of the three. Somehow RK Ryals makes Hell the sexiest place on earth. There is nothing tame about these characters. Dancing With The Devil is hot, lustful, dark and dangerous. Ryals makes being bad look good.
Because of the mirror image, she sees herself in him. It is somehow a terrifying reality. Even without personified form of evil or darkness, one can be able to see though beneath the surface when the illumination comes through. This is the image that one would not want to face up with, unconsciously or consciously. She tells something about writing a journal in order to remind herself of who she is as a part of humanity. I seem to hear the author's authentic voice through this, and would never doubt about it. She appears to remind us of what the human being means when one can only see the abyss of the darkness. What will be left of the humanity when all the madness is played out? Is there to be any hope left? It seems that the author's gift is to find hope even in the most unlikely places. I cannot say that I loved the story, but truly enjoyed reading with the achingly painful heart. It is quite a hell of story, and worth every bit of time to spend with this book. Thanks!
